My work with National Geographic Learning (NGL), a division of Cengage Learning, reflects my commitment to creating purposeful, publication‑ready design for global educational audiences. As a designer supporting one of the world’s most respected PreK–12 and English Language Teaching publishers, I contributed to high‑visibility projects that demanded precision, creativity, and brand stewardship.
I designed and refined book covers, case jackets, disc packaging, and insert sheets, ensuring every asset met strict production and press‑ready standards. Each project moved through a comprehensive pre‑flight process, where I verified layout integrity, color accuracy, typography consistency, and technical specifications before final delivery to mass production partners.
My role also included layout design for National Geographic Explorer Magazine, where I transformed educational content into visually engaging editorial experiences aligned with National Geographic’s iconic visual identity. This work strengthened my ability to balance creativity with clarity, ensuring that design elevated learning outcomes.
Across all projects, I collaborated closely with art directors, editors, and production teams to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold brand excellence. These experiences shaped my approach to design as both a creative and strategic discipline, one that supports communication, learning, and institutional impact. I bring this same level of craft, discipline, and creative problem‑solving to every project, making me well‑prepared to contribute meaningfully to organizations, where thoughtful design plays a vital role in advancing academic and community engagement.
